Healing Is For You, Not Them!


Why do we need to heal? Why can’t we just stay broken? Those are not always simple questions. 


There is a deeper meaning to life then just the current situation we find ourselves in at this very moment. 


You deserve to be happy and find fulfillment in our lives. 


Now, I’m not saying that healing is easy.

It can be ugly.

It can be terrifying.

It can be anxiety inducing.

It may feel like healing lacks compassion sometimes.


You may have to push yourself in ways that you don’t even recognize. While you are working towards healing, you may become a version of yourself that you don’t recognize.


Healing isn’t always this beautiful thing where you meditate and sage your house. Where you

calmly pray and you talk about how you feel enlightened. Sometimes, you feel lost or stupid.

You may find yourself crying. You may feel

fearful and want to hide.


Healing isn’t perfect. You are not looking to heal for perfection. You aren’t looking to heal so that you can prove to others that you can heal. You are looking to heal so that you can prove to


YOURSELF that the situation(s) that you went through was a learning experience. And


even though it was traumatic, you may wait to be patient with yourself.  We all have to pull ourselves up sometimes. You can become the beautiful, spiritual, and open person that you want to see when you look in the mirror. 


Healing is not for anyone else. Healing is for you. 


We are not trying to be perfect. No, we are not honey!! 


I keep telling y’all. I will whip this wig off in a


heartbeat; I'll take all this makeup off; Sit in a chair happily reading! 


Add in a taco! Sheee-it you might find yourself in love with life. 


I’m just saying, healing is for you, It’s not for them.
